In the Maldives, the Solidarity Center partners with trade unions, legal aid and other civil society organizations to advocate for freedom of association, collective bargaining and worker protections, regardless of migration status.
The Solidarity Center and its partners work together to conduct training on organizing, negotiating and strengthening democratic organizations that build power for workers, across various industries including fishing, tourism and health care. These organizations also provide support and legal assistance to migrants and other workers to address labor violations and seek justice for grievances.
