In Venezuela, the Solidarity Center works with a broad range of national labor centers and unaffiliated worker organizations so they can organize and represent workers, bargain collectively over working conditions and improve enforcement of fundamental labor rights for all workers.

The Solidarity Center works to help unions from all political tendencies overcome their divisions to jointly advocate and defend policies for increased protection of fundamental rights at the workplace and across industries.

Venezuela is currently experiencing a political and economic crisis that has resulted in approximately 4 million citizens fleeing the country since 2015. In response to the massive flow of migrants to neighboring Brazil and Colombia, the Solidarity Center has been working with the Brazilian and Colombian labor movements to provide training on basic labor rights and legal assistance to Venezuelan migrants.
