Home About

The Workers Equality Forum, launched in 2016, provides workers a platform to tell their stories and talk to other workers directly. The Workers Equality Forum is a project of the Solidarity Center, a non-profit international worker rights organization that assists workers around the world who are struggling to achieve safe and healthy workplaces, family-supporting wages, social protections and a voice on the job. Most of all, the Solidarity Center assists workers around the world in building shared prosperity in the global economy and in their country.

Founded in 1997 and allied with the AFL-CIO, our programs in some 60 countries focus on human and worker rights, union skills, occupational safety and health, economic literacy, human trafficking, women’s empowerment and bolstering workers in an increasingly informal economy.
