Our office in Islamabad reports that more than 2 million Pakistanis, including workers and their families, have had to flee their homes and workplaces in the North-West Frontier Province as a result of the fighting between the Pakistani army and the Taliban militants. The Pakistan Workers Federation and the Teachers Consortium of Pakistan, two of the most important civil society groups in the country, have issued an international appeal for assistance. Immediate needs are food, water containers, clothing, and fans, as it is now the hot season in Pakistan. Your contribution is vital.
Please donate to the Solidarity Center Education Fund.
